There’s something special about wine country in November.
Harvest is winding down, the air is cooler, and thoughts begin turning toward Thanksgiving tables, holiday gatherings, gifts and the bottles we’ll open with the people we love.
This November, the Illinois Valley Wine Trail invites you to slow down and Savor the Season with two Saturdays celebrating local wine, food, makers and the flavors of fall.
Savor the Season Wine Tour takes place November 7 & 14, 2026, from 12–5 PM, with two Illinois Valley wineries featured each Saturday.
Come for one weekend or experience all four wineries with a Full Savor Pass.
Two Saturdays. Four Wineries. One Savor Experience.
Rather than racing between four wineries in a single afternoon, Savor the Season unfolds over two Saturdays, giving guests more time to enjoy each stop, discover new wines and explore what each winery has to offer
Each Savor Saturday is limited to just 24 guests. With guests divided between two starting wineries, the smaller groups are designed to create a relaxed experience with more time to taste, explore and connect at each stop.
Saturday, November 7
Augustino Estate & Vineyard
Bridgeview Vineyards
Saturday, November 14
Foris Vineyards
Deer Creek Vineyards
Guests will receive an assigned starting winery before each event to help keep the experience relaxed at each location. From there, you’ll have the afternoon to visit both featured wineries at your own pace.
Wine Is Just the Beginning
At each participating winery, Savor guests will receive a minimum of two 1-ounce wine tastings along with a locally inspired food pairing.
You’ll also have opportunities to meet local makers and small businesses along the Trail.
But Savor the Season is about more than an afternoon of tasting.
November is the perfect time to start thinking about the wines you’ll want on the table for Thanksgiving and holiday gatherings, bottles to give as gifts, and perhaps a few favorites to tuck away in your own cellar.
Ask questions. Discover something new. Learn about winery clubs and seasonal offerings. And when you find a bottle you love, take some Illinois Valley wine home with you.
