CAVE JUNCTION, Oregon – The Illinois Valley Wine Trail is proud to announce Blackberry Nights, an evening celebrating local wine, food, art, music, and community in the heart of Southern Oregon.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Pappy T’s Pub & Grub, 202 S Redwood Highway in Cave Junction. VIP guests will be welcomed beginning at 6:00 PM, with General Admission beginning at 6:30 PM. The event concludes at 9:30 PM.

Created to honor the flavors, stories, and creative spirit of the Illinois Valley, Blackberry Nights combines wine tasting, blackberry-inspired cuisine, local art, live music, and community storytelling into one intimate summer evening experience.

“This event was inspired by memories many of us share growing up in the Illinois Valley,” said event organizer Mercy Bordeaux. “Blackberry season has always been part of life here. Whether it was picking berries along a fence line, attending the Blackberry Festival, or gathering with neighbors and friends, those experiences helped shape our community. Blackberry Nights is a way to celebrate those memories while creating new ones.”

Guests will enjoy:

• Wine tastings from participating Illinois Valley wineries
• Blackberry-inspired food pairings prepared by Pappy T’s Pub & Grub
• The Blackberry Summers Art Exhibit featuring regional artists
• Live local music
• A blackberry-themed photo experience
• Opportunities to connect with local makers, artists, and wine enthusiasts

The Blackberry Summers Art Exhibit will serve as the creative centerpiece of the evening, showcasing artwork inspired by the landscapes, stories, memories, and culture of the Illinois Valley and surrounding region.

Blackberry Nights also marks an important milestone as the first signature event presented by the Illinois Valley Wine Trail, an initiative created to promote local wineries, encourage tourism, support wine education, and celebrate the unique character of Southern Oregon wine country.
