Our new Stay in the Illinois Valley resource launches with 20 local lodging options, giving visitors an easier way to discover accommodations while planning a trip to Southern Oregon’s Illinois Valley.
Rather than searching town by town, visitors can explore lodging from across the valley and browse by the kind of experience they’re looking for, including cabins and unique stays, inns and guest rooms, vacation rentals, RV stays, camping and outdoor accommodations.
And this is only the beginning.
We know there are more places to stay throughout the Illinois Valley, and the directory will continue to grow as we discover additional lodging businesses and connect with local property owners.
Stay a Little Longer
The Illinois Valley Wine Trail began with wine, but experiencing this corner of Southern Oregon has never been only about what’s in the glass.
An afternoon of wine tasting can become a weekend exploring the Oregon Caves, hiking through the mountains, wandering local shops and galleries, listening to live music, enjoying a meal in town or simply slowing down beneath some very tall trees.
Where you stay becomes part of that experience.
That’s why developing lodging information is an important part of our work to make the Illinois Valley easier for visitors to discover and explore.
Start With Local. Then Keep Looking.
The new Stay page begins with our growing Illinois Valley lodging directory, including featured Tourism Partners who help support the work of the Illinois Valley Wine Trail.
But no single directory will capture every cabin, campsite or vacation rental available in a rural region like ours.
Visitors who want to continue their search will also find links to current Illinois Valley listings on Airbnb, Vrbo and Hipcamp, making the Stay page a starting point for planning rather than another place visitors have to search around.
Help Us Build the Resource
Have a lodging property in the Illinois Valley that we missed?
We want to know about it.
The goal is to create a useful, growing resource that helps visitors understand just how many ways there are to stay here, while connecting them directly with the businesses and properties that make those visits possible.
Local lodging businesses interested in additional visibility can also learn more about becoming an Illinois Valley Wine Trail Tourism Partner, including opportunities for featured placement and expanded promotion.
Plan Your Stay
Whether you’re planning a wine weekend, an outdoor adventure, a family getaway or a quiet escape into the mountains, we hope the new resource makes answering that first question a little easier.
Where should we stay?
Start exploring, find your place, and stay awhile.
Wine is the invitation. The Illinois Valley is the experience.
