Out ’n’ About Treehouse Treesort Joins Illinois Valley Wine Trail as Founding Presenting Partner

Out'n'About Treehouse Partner Announcement

The Illinois Valley Wine Trail is proud to welcome Out ’n’ About Treehouse Treesort as our first Founding Presenting Partner, marking an exciting step in our work to connect wine tourism with the many experiences that make the Illinois Valley a destination.

When we say, “Wine is the invitation. The Illinois Valley is the experience,” this is exactly what we mean.

Visitors may first discover the Illinois Valley because of its wineries, but what turns an afternoon visit into an overnight stay, a weekend getaway or a return trip is everything else they discover while they are here.

And few places capture the adventurous spirit of the Illinois Valley quite like Out ’n’ About Treehouse Treesort.

An Illinois Valley Experience Among the Trees

Located just outside Cave Junction, Out ’n’ About offers an experience that is anything but ordinary.

Guests can stay among the trees in a collection of uniquely designed treehouses and accommodations surrounded by the forests of Southern Oregon. The property also offers an array of recreational experiences, including ziplining, horseback riding and other activities, while additional adventures such as rafting give visitors even more ways to experience the region.

It is the kind of place that transforms “Where should we stay?” into part of the adventure itself.

That makes Out ’n’ About a natural fit for the Illinois Valley Wine Trail’s growing network of tourism partners.

Building More Than a Wine Trail

The Illinois Valley Wine Trail began with four local wineries, but our vision has always extended beyond the tasting room.

Wine tourism works best when visitors can build an entire experience around their visit.

Where can they stay?

Where can they eat?

What can they do between winery visits?

Where can they shop, explore, hike, experience local art or discover something they weren’t expecting?

Those questions are behind the development of the Illinois Valley Wine Trail Tourism Partner Program, which connects our wineries with lodging, food and drink, recreation and experiences, shopping and retail, arts and culture, and other businesses that contribute to the visitor experience.

The goal is simple: help visitors discover more of the Illinois Valley and give them more reasons to stay longer, explore farther and return again.

Our First Founding Presenting Partner

As a Founding Presenting Partner, Out ’n’ About is supporting that vision during an important stage in the Wine Trail’s development.

Their partnership represents more than sponsorship. It represents the kind of collaboration we believe can help strengthen tourism throughout the Illinois Valley.

A visitor who comes for wine might discover a treehouse.

A family staying in a treehouse might discover a local winery.

Someone arriving for an outdoor adventure might find a restaurant, gallery, shop or event they never knew existed.

Each connection creates another opportunity for visitors to experience the valley as a whole.

A Growing Conversation About Illinois Valley Tourism

The announcement also comes during an important week for the Illinois Valley Wine Trail.

On September 23, we held our first Advisory Council meeting, bringing together representatives from local businesses and organizations to begin conversations about visitor resources, collaboration and opportunities for destination development in the Illinois Valley.

The Tourism Partner Program is one piece of that larger effort.

Over the coming months, we’ll continue developing resources that connect visitors with businesses and experiences throughout the valley while working with our wineries, tourism partners and community organizations to identify opportunities for collaboration.

And this is only the beginning.

Welcome, Out ’n’ About Treehouses!

We are delighted to officially welcome Out ’n’ About Treehouse Treesort as the Illinois Valley Wine Trail’s first Founding Presenting Partner.

We’re grateful for their early support and excited about what we can build together.

Because a trip through the Illinois Valley might begin with a glass of wine.

But there is an entire valley waiting beyond the glass. 🌲🍷

Wine is the invitation. The Illinois Valley is the experience.
